NORTHERN DELAWAREYOUNG LIFE WORK PROJECTS

We need your help!

We need your help to send kids to Saranac this summer! Work projects are a great way for our high school kids to earn money towards “the best week of their life”. If you have projects around your home that need done, please contact Kate Barrett.

What is a work project?

You tell us what you need and we get it done! A Young Life student and their leader will show up at your house to do what ever you need. Some common work projects that we have done in the past include painting, cleaning, laying mulch, weeding. But please feel free to be creating… we are willing to do almost anything you need!

How much does it cost and how do I set it up?

Donations are flexible, but we recommend $15 per hour perstudent. Please contact Kate Barrett at (302) 545-9414 orkatebarrett@gmail.com to arrange the details.

The LIBRARY CART is ‘parked’ just outside the Church Office for your convenience.  Check the items out right there . . .  simply fill out the card and drop it in the slot!  For a greater selection of Christian books and videos, visit Room 110 across from the Office.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR CAR.  Two cars have been broken into in the last few months during services.

ONE CHURCH/ONE FAMILY – The community deacons have accepted a family for the “One Church/One Family” ministry. We pray that you will find it in your heart to help us minister to this family with your financial support. Thank you!  “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” –Galatians 6:2

NOTES FROM YOUR DEACONS:

  •   If you have a need (meals, transportation, visit, etc.) or know of someone who does, your church family wants to know so we can live out our faith as Christ calls us to do. We want to be a blessing to you. Let Jen Porter know of the need and how we can help.

  •   Please bring items for the Food Closet each month on communion Sundays

***PRAYER REQUESTS***:  If you have a prayer request that you do not wish to voice aloud yourself, please write down the information on the form in the pew and check all boxes that apply. If you know of a practical need that the Church can help to meet, whether for yourself or someone else, indicate that in the section marked practical need. Please remember to sign your name. If you would like to have a family member put on the prayer list in the bulletin, please contact the church office by Wednesday afternoon. To put someone on the prayer chain, contact the church office.

NEED HEARING ASSISTANCE?  If you would like a hearing-assistance receiver assigned to you for use in the worship services, contact Gene Dufaj or see one of our ushers.
